Enough of dolce far niente around the pool. Need to fill the fridge with fresh produce? Try the Thursday market at San Pantaleo or every day the supermarket at Arzachena or Abbiadori. If shopping is your spouses favourite thing,  visit Italy's most prestigious boutiques at Port Cervo. This should get you started:

San pantaleo

Thursday morning is farmers market at San Pantaleo, where you can buy the lot, from delicious ingredients for your next meal to a wide selection of locally made colourful fabrics, antiques, art or jewellery. During "Happy Hour" - when the village square wakes up after the hottest part of the day - join the locals for a refreshment on the Piazza next to the church. Its a perfect place too to have your morning ristretto with croissants to start the day. Why not after just a half-hour run from our house? 

Porto Cervo

Need to make up to your spouse for a round of golf you had with your buddy at Pevero in the morning? Then take her for an early evening stroll to Porto Cervo, where you will find the best of the best of Italian luxury brands, yes Dolce Gabbana, Versace, Gucci, Ferrer, Prada & Co. are all represented with their finest wares. Its not for the faint hearted and a real challenge to your credit card, but it will be a total success with your spouse. 

Arzachena

For your everyday needs you will find almost anything in Arzachena. This quaint little town of 13000 inhabitants is the regional centre of Northern Gallura. From groceries (Dettori Market), restaurants, pharmacies to medical services, Arzachena has got you covered. And if not, Olbia is not far away either.
